EZ Green Home is growing fast and is looking for reliable, honest, and ambitious individuals passionate about analyzing and improving home performance. Our team is committed to maximizing the safety, comfort and energy efficiency of home owners throughout Maryland. The following opportunities are available until filled:

Jr. Building Auditor:  Performs Quick Home Energy Check-ups (QHEC) and assists Home Performance auditor with comprehensive home diagnostic analyses. Must have an acute attention to detail, respond well to direction and take initiative to keep audits running smoothly, communicates with homeowners about QHEC impact measures and additional EZ Home services available (i.e. home performance audit, retrofits and solar), and willing to learn to move up within the company. BPI Building Analyst certified preferred. Will train the right candidate.

Customer Service and Marketing Assistant: Well-organized, friendly administrative professional to help with setting appointments, collecting information and documents for services, and assisting the Home Performance team. Ideal candidate will have some technical support and project management know-how. Proficient in Spanish and Excel preferred.

Canvassers/Door to Door Schedulers: People person who is able to share with homeowners the benefits of the EmPOWER Maryland programs and schedule them for their 75% – 100% subsidized home walk-through and energy efficiency installs. Perfect for someone looking to make some extra cash and able to work some evenings and weekends.

Sr. Building Auditor: Conducts Home Performance audit with comprehensive home diagnostic analyses and oversees retrofit projects. Must have an acute attention to detail, takes initiative to keep audits running smoothly, communicates with homeowners about Home Performance impact measures and additional EZ Home services available (i.e. home performance audit, retrofits and solar). BPI Building Analyst certification required. BPI Envelope Professional and/or BPI Healthy Home certification preferred. Will train the right candidate.

Solar Sales Specialist: Follow up with leads to determine interest in solar and meet with clients for solar sit-down consultations. Must be a team player with strong communication, interpersonal and sales skills and able to learn customers’ priorities and preferences to provide the right product to fit their needs. Experience using Salesforce preferred. Strong interest in solar and understanding of solar technology, and solar financing preferred.

Skilled Trades Professionals and/or Laborers: Licensed and insured professional with at least 2 years of experience. Trades include: roofer, plumber, electrician. Physically able to work in crawlspaces, attics, and on roofs and carry and set up equipment/materials up to 30 pounds. Strong interest in building performance, energy efficiency and/or renewable energy. Weatherization and retrofit experience preferred. Must have references available upon request. BPI and/or NABCEP certified preferred. Flexible availability, able to work independently and as in-house hired professional.
