What to Expect During Your Walkthrough & Efficiency Updates
An EZ Green professional will take 30-60 minutes to introduce you to energy systems in your home and provide some quick energy saving tips. You will also receive a report summarizing the current condition of your energy use and recommendations to improve.

The Residential Energy Audit and Direct Install Program (READI) is a no cost, fast and easy way to increase the energy efficiency of your home and will help you start saving immediately. We come to your home and check the condition of its insulation, heating and air conditioning system, lighting, appliances and more to identify simple ways to help you save energy and money. We will educate you on your home’s current energy usage and offer you recommendations to improve its efficiency.
The READI Program is available at no additional cost! It is included with your existing electric service.
With your permission, the technician may install various energy-saving products at no additional charge customized to your home’s energy-efficiency needs, including:
- LED Bulbs: Use up to 75% less energy than traditional light bulbs
- LED Night Light: Eliminate turning on the light switch at night
- Faucet Aerators: Reduce water consumption in your kitchen and bathroom as much as 50%
- Efficient Flow Showerheads: Fixed mount and handheld models available to reduce shower water usage by over 25%
- Smart Strips: Reduce idle current when electronics are not in use
